The Santa Claus dahlia is a bold and festive variety known for its large red and white bicolor blooms, resembling holiday candy canes. It belongs to the Dinnerplate dahlia which means it's blooms can be 8-10" in diameter, but in our fields we don't let it get more than 6-7" so the petals are open, but not too open where the petals are starting to age. Historically they say plants only get to 4', but in our field we get closer to 5' since we plant tight and they will reach for the sun. Vigorous bloomer all season long and striking addition to bouquets of all color
